Responsibilities:

• Conduct soil tests and analyze results to recommend appropriate soil treatments.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of crop rotation and other soil conservation techniques.
• Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to farmers on best agricultural practices and new technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of all field activities, inputs, and outputs.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to test and evaluate new agricultural methods and products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the agricultural sector, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of crop management, soil health, and pest control.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining farm equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with farmers and team members.
• Willingness to travel to various field locations as required.
